Greetings. My name is Christine Taylor. I began my teaching career in August of 1996 as a Spanish teacher in Prince George's County Public Schools. It was in 2007, when I got bit by the technology bug. I had just started teaching at a middle school in DC and each classroom had a set of 20 macbooks and each teacher got their own macbook. A couple years down the road the school also installed SMART Boards in each classroom. Once I saw the the great benefits of technology integration into the classroom, I decided to enroll in University of Maryland's University College M.Ed. program for Instructional Technology. In 2013, I took on the role of Instructional Technology Liaison part time along with continuing to teach Spanish and in 2015, I transitioned to the role of Instructional Technology Coach full time. I truly enjoy helping teachers integrate technology into their classrooms.
